Short Curriculum Vitae – Prof. Dr. Çınar Özen

Professor Çınar Özen was born in 1969 in Ankara, Turkey, and hails from the village of Tarakçı in the province of Bolu.

He received his undergraduate degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University in 1991. He earned his master’s degree from the European Institute of the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and completed his Ph.D. in International Relations at Gazi University- Ankara.

Professor Özen was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2004 and became a full Professor in 2009. Throughout his academic career, he has served as a faculty member at Gazi University-Ankara, İzmir University of Economics, and Ankara University. Since 2009, he has been a Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University, where he continues his academic research and teaching.
